A statement by OKA spokesperson Fredrick Okango has labelled the day as that which will see a major political volcano experienced in the country.

One Kenya Alliance has hinted at joining the Azimio la Umoja movement on February 25.

This is the same day that ODM and Jubilee parties, crucial partners of Azimio, are set to hold their party NDC which will culminate in the endorsement of ODM leader Raila Odinga for the presidency.

One Kenya Alliance brings together the Wiper party led by Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi's KANU, Martha Karua's Narc, and One led by former minister Cyrus Jirongo.

A statement by OKA spokesperson Fredrick Okango has labelled the day as that which will see a major political volcano experienced in the country.

"We've come together as OKA to offer real solutions. We have got a grass-root agenda to strengthen devolution, end corruption and create jobs for the people.

"It's complete with programs, unity and structured coalition plans as we seek the like-minded. The date is 25th," Okango stated.

Okango is also the KANU secretary general whose leader Gideon Moi confirmed that talks are ongoing to join Azimio.

The announcement raises eyebrows given that the same February 25 is when ODM and Jubilee will be striking a deal to endorse Raila for the presidency.

Though the two parties will have their NDC on February 25 and 26, it is a matter of waiting and seeing whether Kalonzo will be moving to Azimio.

This comes barely a week after Kalonzo hinted at joining Azimio at a rally in Kisii.
