Former Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has disclosed that he will be vying for a political seat in either Nairobi or Siaya Counties.
Speaking during JKL live on Wednesday, Tuju disclosed that he was still weighing his options between the two counties.
“I am here looking at various political offices. I have lived in Nairobi for the last 49 years. I have a home here and I can contest for any seat in Nairobi, with the right consultation.
“I can also contest in my home county of Siaya…I have this fortunate position that I do have name recognition and I do have a track record in the political arena so it is much easier for me to get into the fray," Tuju stated.

The former Cabine Secretary without portfolio stated that he would be contesting under Azimio la Umoja.
Speaking on his relationship with ODM Leader Raila Odinga, Tuju said they have had a cordial relationship adding that he would make sure that Azimio wins in the August 9 election.
"Raila Odinga and I have a very good relationship now, and for a long time. After the accident, he used to pass through Karen Hospital every day and I’m lucky enough that he is also my neighbor," he stated.
Tuju also disclosed that he resigned from his position as Jubilee SG last year in December before the party's NDC was pushed to February.
