Kenyans have been divided on social media on where exactly Ruto visited.

It is now emerging that deputy president William Ruto could not have visited the White House despite his communications team announcing so.

Kenyans have been divided on the social media on where exactly the DP visited with unconfirmed reports indicating that the DP paid a visit to the Eisenhower Building and not the White House.

At the time of going to the press, Nairobi Leo was still pursuing the facts related to the matter.

However, we have established that the DP's visit is not on White House calendars as would be expected.

Procedurally, such a high profile visit would be booked in the White House calendar.

Earlier in the day, Ruto's head of presidential campaigns communication reported that the DP visited the White House where he held closed-door discussions with key officials.

"Kenya’s Deputy President  William Ruto & former Vice President Musalia Mudavadi led a delegation that was hosted at the White House in Washington DC today, in a closed-door meeting where issues of strategic partnership between U.S.A & Kenya were discussed," Hussein Mohamed said.

The statement caused a huge debate on the socials with Kenyans divided on what could have transpired.

The DP who is in the US has held a series of meetings and he is expected to proceed to London for more visits before heading to Dubai before flying back to the country.
