ODM leader Raila Odinga and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka are closer to inking a deal that will see them work together ahead of the August 9, polls, reports indicates.
According to the Star, Kalonzo and Raila are expected to seal a deal either Thursday or Friday ahead of Raila's coronation set for Saturday.
A Wiper MP, who is part of the negotiating team, disclosed to the publication that the ‘progress’ has been good and that the two leaders would work together ahead of the August 9, polls.

“Yes, progress is good and we hope everything will be in place by Friday,” said the MP who was not identified by name because he sought anonymity.
The probability of Kalonzo and Raila working together has been in doubt.
The former Prime Minister on Tuesday said he will not force anyone to join Azimio La Umoja, a statement that raised doubt whether talks were ongoing.
Last week, Kalonzo released a document of his agreement with Raila that was made in 2017.
He said the agreement was for Raila to back him in the 2022 polls.
Kalonzo had demanded that the agreement be part of the negotiation as they talk of working together Ahead of the August 9, polls.
The Wiper leader at the same time said he will still negotiate with Rail if he does not honour the deal.
He said working with Deputy President William Ruto is not an option for him ahead of the August 9, polls.
