The MP has also been kicked out of any committee position he holds at the senate.
His ouster comes barely a week after he joined Deputy President William Ruto's camp.
During a rally in Thika on Sunday, Wamatangi declared endorsement of Ruto's presidential bid.
He also joined the UDA and is seeking the party's ticket in his bid for the Kiambu governor seat.
While appearing at Citizen TV on Thursday morning, Wamatangi stated that he was ready for any disciplinary action including being de-whipped.
“If any disciplinary action comes, it's welcome. I have been beholden to any position.”
He also explained why he joined Ruto's camp saying he was following the will of the people.
“The most popular party in Kiambu is UDA. I don’t have a problem with Jubilee, the people of Kiambu told me to move to UDA,” he stated.
