Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has turned down President Uhuru Kenyatta's invitation to State House for a meeting.
The President is said to have invited Mt Kenya MPs for a meeting scheduled for Friday, March 18.
In a statement, Kuria told off the president saying they tried in vain to seek an audience with President Uhuru Kenyatta in the last four years but that is not forthcoming.
The Gatundu South MP said it is meaningless to attend President Uhuru's meeting just a few days before the August 9, polls.
According to Kuria, Uhuru's endorsement of ODM leader Raila Odinga has made the invite fishier and not worth attending.

"Mt Kenya leaders have been waiting for a proper sit down for 4 years. To call them 143 days before the election and when you have already declared yourself the campaign manager for Kitendawili is contemptuous. With the utmost respect and deep regret, just let us be," he said.
Kuria is just one of many leaders who turned down the invitation to meeting in a move to ostensibly express their solidarity with Deputy President William Ruto.
The President's invite of Mt Kenya MPs has raised questions on what exactly could be in the offing considering that there have been beliefs that he lost ground in the Mt Kenya region.
The President has endorsed Raila for the presidency and the move has led to many leaders moving to Ruto's camp.
It is presumed that the DP is enjoying a commanding lead in the Mt Kenya region.
