Mama Ngina Kenyatta has urged the Mt. Kenya people to follow president Uhuru Kenyatta's direction and back Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a burial in Kiambu county on Tuesday, Mama Ngina stated that the President had the best interests of Mt Kenya people when he endorsed Odinga.
"There is no way your leader can mislead you," Mama Ngina said.
She mentioned that President Kenyatta didn't have a problem with his deputy William Ruto until he started to bring some issues.
"He (Uhuru) didn’t have a problem (with Ruto), but if your deputy is troublesome, would you really stick there? You will move on," she mentioned.

Mama Ngina called for peace during the elections and urged people to love their country.
She raised an issue with leaders who are crisscrossing the country abusing leaders telling the people to reject such kind of leaders with no morals.
“let me tell those who are going round abusing others, we will leave them alone if that is how they were taught when growing up," she added.
The Head of State endorsed ODM leader Raila Odinga for the presidency ahead of the August polls.
On the other hand, Ruto was endorsed by UDA delegates to ahead presidential flagbearer and will face Odinga in the August polls.

DP Ruto recently told President Kenyatta to stand aside and let him deal with Odinga head-on.
"Mwambieni Uhuru ata kama hataki kunisaidia, aniwachie huyo mzee ya kitendawili, mimi niko tayari yeye kupambana nayeye, yeye asimame kando mimi nitamalizia huyo mzee wa kitendawili," DP Ruto.
