KCPE results are set to be released today. This is according to Education CS George Magoha.
According to reports, the CS is currently briefing President Uhuru Kenyatta before heading to Mitihani House where the release of the exams will be done from 11 am on Monday.
The ceremony will be led by Prof. George Magoha barely a month after KCPE exams were administered and completed. The tests started on March 7 and were concluded on March 9.
About 1.2 million candidates who did their exams this year will then be expected to start receiving their results by sending their index numbers to a short text message (SMS) to code 20076.
The three-day exam papers were meant to be sat for in 2021, but that did not happen since the school calenders were disrupted by the Corona Virus pandemic which led to the closing of schools countrywide for over a year.
