An 11-year-old boy from Kitengela, who has been missing since Saturday, March 26, has been found dead.
Emmanuel Kipkemboi’s body was found on Friday with 17 stab wounds on the neck and head at an isolated house a few metres from his home at Jamii Bora estate.
Kipkemboi, a pupil at Sathya-sai School, had failed to return home on the fateful Saturday evening before his lifeless body was retrieved on Friday.
The Grade Five pupil’s body was discovered after blood stains led neighbours to the deserted three-bedroom house.

According to a neighbour, Kipkemboi's killers must have had enough time to commit the murder since no distress call was heard since he went missing.
An autopsy conducted on the deceased minor at Shalom Hospital in Athi River detailed that he lost his life due to several stab wounds to the neck and head.
According to Isinya sub-county Police Commander Ancent Kaloki, initial investigations pointed to a family dispute and Kipkemboi's killers must have been well known to him.
"We suspect the person who lured the boy to his murder was known to him. We have crucial leads we are following to unravel the murder," Kaloki stated.
Kipkemboi’s death was a misery to his family as they had lost their father on January 31.
His body was preserved at the Shalom mortuary as police continued with investigations.
