The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has announced that they will repeat the nomination exercise in some areas that were not covered during the party primaries on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
In the statement issued by UDA on Saturday, April 16, the repeat exercise will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
According to the statement, the Party has made arrangements for the hearing of any arising disputes which are being handled by the Party Electoral & Nomination Disputes Resolution Committee (EDRC ) at Hustler Center Makindi Road Nairobi.
The Final Nomination Certificates for all successful aspirants will be issued next week from 23rd April 2022 to 25th April 2022.
The areas where UDA nominations will be repeated;
A. Nominations for Members of National Assembly
1. Nakuru Town West & Rongai Constituencies in Nakuru County
2. Mt Elgon Constituency in Bungoma County
3. Turkana East & Turkana West Constituencies in Turkana County
4. Moiben constituency in Uasin Gishu County.
B. Nominations for Member of County Assembly
1. Biashara Ward – Nakuru Town East Constituency
2. All wards in Bumula Constituency
3. All Wards in Mt. Elgon Constituency
4. All wards in Malava, Lugari and Likuyani constituencies
5. All wards in Turkana East & Turkana Central Constituencies
6. Mahiga and Endarasha Ward in Nyeri Town Constituency
7. The Following wards in Meru county Kibiricha, Kisima, Ruiri/Rwarera, Ntima East, Nyaki East, Nyaki West, Akirang’ondu, Mwanganthia, Abothoguchi, West, Nkomo, Nkuene, Ab geta East, Ab geta West and Akachiu.
