Jubilee aspirant for the Nairobi governorship seat Polycarp Igathe has now claimed that all his competitors under the Azimo la Umoja One Kenya coalition have agreed to support him.
Igathe made the announcement on Thursday evening April 21, after the State House meeting on who would fly the Nairobi gubernatorial ticket for the Azimio coalition.
The meeting was convened by President Kenyatta to agree on who would fly the flag among Igathe, Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi, businessman Richard Ngatia, and businesswoman Agnes Kagure.
"I'm very pleased to tell you that verbally they have already confirmed to me that they will be supporting my candidature as the governor of Nairobi County and we are going together as a team," Igathe stated.
