"We will beat Johnson Sakaja at exactly 8:57 am, it will be a done job. All the people who are my supporters wake up at 5.00 am in the morning. It will be an Azimio ticket that wins," he said.

Igathe during the same interview revealed that he had been endorsed by Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi and businessman Richard Ngatia.

"I'm very pleased to tell you that verbally they have already confirmed to me that they will be supporting my candidature as the governor of Nairobi County and we are going together as a team," Igathe stated.

The announcement of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Nairobi Line up is set to be unveiled on Friday.
