Renowned Jubilee party politician and Kiambaa constituency aspirant Kariri Njama seems to have been locked out of the Kiambaa constituency race, after the party issued out nomination certificate to his rival.
From photos shared from Jubilee party headquarters, politician Damaris Wambui was given the party's ticket to contest for the Kiambaa seat.
This was contrary to early reports that the party was going to front Kariri Njama to defend a seat he lost during the July 2021 by-election to UDA's John Njuguna Kawanjiku. Damaris Wambui was given the ticket by Jubilee Party Director of Elections Kanini Kega.

Earlier on Friday, morning, Kariri Njama, through a statement on his Facebook account, excluded confidence that he was going to be given the ticket by the party. He urged his supporters to meet him at Jubilee party headquarters for the event.
"Breaking News...Ready to go and collect the Jubilee party nomination certificate, our God is the living God" posted Kariri on Thursday, April 21 evening.
"Good morning Kiambaa...it is Today...let us meet there" he added on Friday morning.
According to reports, Kariri spent the whole of Friday at Jubilee party headquarters with three buses full of his supporters only for the certificate to be given to one Damaris Wambui Waiganjo.
By Friday evening, there were still a large number of leaders and demonstrating supporters outside Jubilee Party headquarters in Pangani waiting to be given their nomination tickets
The former Ruto ally is now expected to announce his next political moves in the next few days. Damaris Wambui will now face off with John Kawanjiku who has already been given a direct UDA nomination ticket to defend his seat.
