ODM leader Raila Odinga will have to cut short his United States tour to get back to Kenya because of President Mwai Kibaki's death and funeral preparations.
A statement by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance press secretary Dennis Onsarigo indicates that the former premier will be back in Kenya on Wednesday.
Rail will be back to attend Kibaki's state funeral and burial slated for Friday and Saturday respectively.

Kibaki will be buried at his Othaya home in Nyeri County.
"Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition flag-bearer Rt Hon Raila Odinga will cut short his ongoing US trip and travel back home on Wednesday ahead of the state burial of the former President Mwai Kibaki," Onsarigo said in a press statement.
Kibaki's State Funeral will be held at Nyayo Stadium on Friday.
He will be flown to Othaya on Saturday morning where his burial ceremony will be staged.
President Uhuru Kenyatta announced Kibaki's burial on Friday.
The late Kibaki died aged 90 years.
He will be buried with full military honours. The country is currently observing a mourning period.
The Kenyan flag is being flown half-mast at government offices within and out of Kenya.
Friday has been declared a public holiday in his honour.
