Westlands Member of Parliament MP Timothy Wanyonyi has hinted at the political direction he will be taking.

Westlands Member of Parliament (MP) Timothy Wanyonyi has broken his silence after Azimio presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga unveiled its team for Nairobi County.

Odinga announced that Tim, who has been eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat, would be defending his Westlands MP seat.

The former Prime Minister stated that Polycarp Igathe would be the Azimio gubernatorial candidate for Nairobi County.

"The Nairobi governor candidate is going to be Mr. Polycarp Igathe. He will be deputised by professor Kaloki. The senator candidate will be Edwin Sifuna.

Surprisingly, while all other candidates from all the parties in Azimio were present, Tim was missing from the presser.

The Westlands MP has now hinted that he might be vying as an independent candidate for the Nairobi Governor seat.

"The dream remains alive," Tim tweeted on Monday.
