Deputy President William Ruto's wife Mama Rachel has said she prayed for dirty borehole water and it became purified.
Speaking on Friday during a meeting with Evangelical Churches at their Official Karen residence, the DP's wife said she was inspired by Elisha to pray for her dirty borehole.
Rachel said their purifying machine got broken and they were frustrated with solving the matter as quickly as possible.

"I kept wondering am I worthy to do what Elisha did just to go pray for this water. I kept thinking maybe I need a pastor, a prophet and the Lord kept reminding me about that. On Wednesday, which is usually our day of prayer and fasting I went for a meeting and then I thought let me go to the residence," she said.
"When I got there the Lord reminded me about the water. I went to the kitchen took a bowl, put salt, and went to the borehole. I decreed the words of Elisha and said this water would never be dirty again and sprayed the water around the borehole. It was about to rain so I ran quickly back to the house."
Rachel further narrated that she discovered that the water was clean two days later.
She attributed the development to God saying it is through their prayers that they were able to see the waters purified.
"On Friday I saw that the water was looking different. I waited when the guests were gone and called the boy. I asked him what happened to the water. He told me doesn't know but the water is now clean, We started giving God thanks."
On Friday, the DP hosted the evangelical clergy at his residence during which a prayer breakfast was held.
Among those who attended include Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua and a host of religious leaders.
