ODM leader Raila Odinga will present his nomination papers to IEBC to be cleared to vie for the presidency on June 5, it has now emerged.

Raila will be accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua during the presentation.

It is during the presentation that Raila will be cleared to officially run for the presidency as a candidate.

The revelations emerged on the day Raila presented 2000 signatures of people backing his presidency in each of the majority counties as required by the law.

All Presidential aspirants are required to present their signatures on Monday which is the deadline set by presidential candidates.

IEBC will go through the signatures for verification during which it will be able to examine whether they are valid or not.

Those whose signatures will have a deficit will be communicated to by the electoral body for action.
