Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga has appointed Saitabao ole Kanchory as his chief agent in the August general election.
Odinga also announced that Senator Kithure Kindiki's elder brother Prof Isaiah Kindiki and Dr. Caroline Karugu would deputize Saitabao.
Odinga's appointment comes a day after DP William Ruto appointed Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki to be his chief agent for the general election.
Speaking after being cleared by the IEBC, Odinga expressed confidence in the electoral body ahead of the August polls.
"We have confidence that the IEBC has got the capacity to conduct free and fair elections. We urge you to live by the expectations of the people of Kenya. We promise you that we are going to conduct ourselves as candidates and members of our movement as per the constitution of Kenya. We want to see free and fair elections, we want to see Kenyans expressing themselves freely in August general polls," he stated.

The former Prime Minister added, "We expect the fourth estate to play their role objectively. I know that the media will press you or vilify you, but that is their freedom of expression. We want to create a free and democratic society."
