Mathira MP and Deputy President William Ruo's running Mate Rigathi Gachagua now says Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithre Kindiki will get the biggest job offer that will be allocated to his County.
Speaking while on a campaign trail in Tharaka Nithi county on Thursday, Gachagua said Kindiki is a highly regarded member of the alliance and that they will hand him a plum job.
"We have appointed him as Ruto's Chief Agent and the top position that will go to Tharaka Nithi will be given to Kindiki," he said.
Kindiki and Gachagua were the frontrunners in the race to find Ruto's suitable running mate.

Ruto, however, settled on Gachagua despite the fact that Kindiki topped in various opinion polls conducted across the country.
Kindiki has already declared that he will not be seeking an elective post in the August polls.
He also said he will not be available for any appointive post adding that he will be taking a break to reflect on his political future.
"I have taken a decision to take a break from elective politics. I will take the break to reorganise myself as I support my party to deliver the presidency," he said on May 16.
"I will not be seeking any appointive position whatsoever. However, I will be available to seek any position in future that may be available at the national level," Kindiki.
