Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has told Senator Johnson Sakaja to do the right thing.
In a Twitter post on Sunday, June 19, Senator Sakaja issued an update after attending a church service at Jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu constituency.
"Blessed church service at Jesus Winner Ministry this morning together with Kenya Kwanza leadership. Thank you Bishop Mwai for the wonderful sermon on the story of David and Saul, the prayers, and your support," Sakaja said.
In a cryptic message, Kabogo told Senator Sakaja to do the right thing and not the right things.
"My Kid bro, do the right thing and it shall set you free. There’s a big difference between doing things right and doing the right things. Thank me later," Kabogo urged Sakaja.
Kabogo's tweet could have been in reference to Senator Sakaja's academic credentials.
Sakaja is under scrutiny over his degree certificate from Teams University which he presented to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
A petitioner has challenged the authenticity of Sakaja's degree at the IEBC disputes tribunal. IEBC is expected to make a decision today.
In previous interviews, Sakaja has always maintained that he graduated from the University of Nairobi (UoN). However, UoN recently said that he enrolled in 2003 but never graduated.
