Raila Has Already Won The Election – CS Matiang’i

Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i has sensationally claimed that Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga has already won in the August polls.

Speaking during an Azimio rally in Nyamira County on Friday, July 1, the CS alleged that the former Prime Minister had already garnered enough votes to win in the general election.

Matiang’i told the Nyamira locals in Ekegusii that he allegedly sits on the high table and knows what happens there.

“When I tell you this, I have sat in Nairobi with these men every day and I have seen how the country’s affairs are running. This old man (alleging Raila) already garnered all the votes,” Matiang’i stated.

His remarks came even as Raila confirmed that the CS would be in his government if Azimio coalition party wins in the August polls.

The ODM leader defended Matiang’i from his opponents saying that he would protect him as he urged Nyamira residents to vote for Azimio.

“Hapa Nyamira kuna kijana wenu Fred Matiang’i. Huyu Matiang’i wale jamaa walimchukia sana. Kila mara wanaongea juu yake ati huyu jamaa ataona. Wale wakiingia kwa serikali watapeleka Matiang'i ndani. Nawahakikishia kuwa Matiang’i ako na baba.

“Kama kuna jamaa anajaribu kuja kupiga kijana wangu, kwanza apige mimi kwanza. Matiang’i tutakaa naye ata baada ya tarehe tisa mwezi wa nane tutakuwa na yeye katika serikali,” Raila stated.
