Suna East MP Junet Mohamed now alleges that a senior IEBC official bought a beach house in Mombasa from corruption money.

Junet who recently waged war against the IEBC made the allegations during a rally in Kirinyaga on Thursday.

The Azimio Secretary general said the IEBC official and his team looted some money that he used to buy the house.

"Sisi tuko na habari kamili. Tunajua ni mambo gani inaendelea huko ndani. Tuko na watu wetu huko ndani wanareport kila siku. Tuko na habari vile wamekula pesa wakanunua nyumba huko Mombasa, beach port. Mtu ya IEBC mkubwa amenunua nyumba huko Mombasa. Ata hiyo nyumba tutarudisha ikue ofisi ya DC tukishinda," Junet said

He at the same time told Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula to prepare for a summon over his links to the ballot paper tender.

Junet said the DCI will soon invite Wetangula for a talk over the matter adding that the Senator is fond of making suspicious deals.

"Yule jamaa anaitwa Wetangula, ambaye kazi yake ni madeals kutoka gold mpaka kila kitu alikua ameandika barua kwa IEBC ili achukue commission kwa mambo ya printing tender. Sasa tumepeleka hizo  vitu kwa DCI. Mimi nataka  huyo Wetangula  ajitayarishe saa yoyote ataitwa kwa DCI awekwe kizimbani kwa kuhujumu mambo ya wakenya.

The Azimio secretary-general at the same time exuded confidence that they will the August 9, polls.

He dismissed claims that they have sensed defeat saying they are sure of a 70 percent win.

He said what they are doing is sealing loopholes that might be used to siphon money.

"Sisi tuko na uakika tutashinda uchaguzi ujao kwa 70 per cent. Lakini tunataka tufunge mwanya yote ambayo panya anaweza pitia. Si ati tuko na shida, tuko na numbers."
