6 Killed, 10 Injured in Grisly Road Accident Along Thika-Garissa Highway [Photos]

Six people died on the spot while ten others sustained serious injuries on Friday, July 15 after a nasty accident along the Thika-Garissa highway. 

The accident involved a head-on collision between a matatu and a car at Kwa Majini area.

One of the vehicles burst into flames after the accident with reports indicating that three people were burnt beyond recognition. 

Reports indicate that the cause of the fire was a gas cylinder that was in the matatu which burst into flames following the collision.

Police disclosed that the injured were taken to Matuu Level 4 Hospital with serious burn injuries.
