Raila Odinga-led Azimio La Umoja coalition party has announced the date and venue of its last campaign rally ahead of the August general election.
In a press statement on Tuesday by the party’s secretary general Junet Mohamed, Azimio will hold its last official campaign rally at the Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi on August 6.
Junet thanked Kenyans who turned up for the party’s campaign rallies across the country urging them to join the Raila brigade at the Nyayo Stadium for the last rally.
“As the country approaches the general election in 20 days, the Azimio team wishes to thank all Kenyans of goodwill who have turned up in their millions all over the country at meetings, rallies and in person to join this historic journey to a fair, just, prosperous and inclusive nation.

“The Azimio campaign team led by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua will hold its last official campaign meeting in Nairobi on 6th August 2022 at Nyayo Stadium,” read the statement by Junet.
Raila on Tuesday drummed support for his candidature in Nakuru County as he continued to sell the Azimio agenda.
The Azimio presidential candidate urged the youth to turn up at polling stations and not leave until the results are announced.
“Mnarauka alfajiri, mnaenda kwa kiwanja mnakesha pale. Wazee na akina mama wakija muwasaidei kupiga kura. Lakini vijana mkipiga kura mnakaa pale pale kwa kituo mpaka ihesabiwe mpaka itangazwe,” Raila told a charged crowd in Gilgil, Nakuru.
