A standoff ensued at Azimio La Umoja rally in Moi Gardens Lodwar, Turkana county, on Thursday after charged supporters of ODM and Jubilee parties clashed.
Raila had pitched a tent into the venue when the chaos erupted.
The chaotic incident erupted after Suna East MP Junet Mohamed invited Former Petroleum CS John Munyes to speak ahead of MP Jeremiah Lomurkai. The two leaders are eyeing the governor seat on Azimio ticket.
The move degenerated into a war of words among supporters with those allied to Munyes claiming their candidate had been undermined.
