In a tweet on Wednesday, August 10, the Narc Kenya Party leader stated that it is not done until it is done IEBC tallies the votes.

“It’s not done till it’s done,” Ms. Karua tweeted.

Her remarks comes even as results from her polling station in Mugumo Primary School in Gichugu Constituency showed that UDA presidential candidate William Ruto beat his Azimio counterpart Raila Odinga.

According to results from form 34A which were posted by IEBC in its portal, Ruto garnered 911 of the total votes cast at the polling station where Karua cast her vote. Raila garnered 311 votes.

Interestingly for Ruto, Raila could not also win at President Uhuru Kenyatta’s polling station.

Mutomo primary school in Gatundu South constituency where the Head of State casted his vote had Ruto emerging winner in the presidential results with 983 votes followed by Raila who had 464 votes.

IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati on Tuesday said that that results announced at polling stations are final and the commission will start announcing the results once they are verified.
