The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party led by Raila Odinga filed its election petition challenging President-elect William Ruto's win at the Supreme Court on Monday, August 22.
One of the lawyers who will be representing Odinga at the Supreme Court is Siaya Governor-elect James Orengo.
Addressing the press on Monday after presenting their evidence before the court, Orengo said one of the orders Azimio is looking for is to have the declaration by IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati declaring Ruto President-elect quashed.
"We have got a couple of orders we want from the court, We could have a rerun if the court so orders but we think we have circumstances which the court can actually retally the forms 34As and 34Bs and determine the person who really won the election.
"We want the declaration by Wafula Chebukati quashed and If it is quashed it means nothing happened. We are accusing Chebukati of criminal conduct that amounts to a violation of leadership and integrity requirements as spelled out in our constitution," Orengo stated.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Monday, August 15, declared Deputy President William Ruto the President elect.
IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati said that Ruto garnered 7,176,141 million votes which is 50.49% nationally against his arch-rival Raila Odinga who got 6,942,930 votes 48.85%.
However, Odinga flagged the results as null and avoid, accusing the electoral agency's chair of sidelining the views of other commissioners.
"Chebukati did not entertain any discussions of the results... we know what happened next. Our view in Azimio is clear; the figures announced by Chebukati are null and void and must be quashed by a court of law. He acted with gross impunity and total disregard," said Raila.
