Residents alleged that the MP was planning to tamper with the elections exercise.

A dramatic incident ensued at a polling station in Rongai constituency where MP election is being held.

This is after residents kicked out Nakuru East MP David Gikaria from a polling center.

Agitated residents told off the MP from being at the center with a section of them alleging that they fear the MP could tamper with the election exercise.

Gikaria first pitched a tent at Mercy Njeri Primary School polling centre.

He is said to have been there for three hours since 6 am.

Gikaria the left and proceeded to Kiamunyi Secondary School polling center where he was blocked by voters and other agents.

The MP was one of the many MPs the UDA party had deployed at the constituency to manage the polls and guard the votes.

Rongai has a total of 297 polling stations.

The UDA party is keen on edging out the incumbent MP Raymond Moi. Moi is vying on a Kanu party ticket.

The MP is seeking his third term in office.
