The office of Chief Justice Martha Koome has denied a tweet indicating that she congratulated President William Ruto for holding prayers at State House, Nairobi.
An Image in a form of tweet bearing the the names and image of the CJ has been going viral on social media.
"Thank you William Ruto for making State House a house of prayer. A good example for Kenya Judiciary. Kenya is a country of God," the fake tweet attributed to Koome stated.
CJ office has however denied existence of such a message.
Koome's communications adviser Michael Mumo shared a screenshot of the image after having flagged it as fake.

President William Ruto on Sunday had a church service with a group of religious leaders at State House, Nairobi.
The service brought together evangelical leaders where they prayed and worshipped together.
Ruto had asked the religious leaders to pray for State House as he marks his journey there as the country's head of state.
The prayer for the State House came after the church service had come to an end.
"After this service, there is a part two which may not be as organized as the first session. We will ask 30 or 40 of our senior clergy to pray over this building and this residence, and the offices so that God can give us solutions for this country," Ruto said during the service.
First Lady Rachel Ruto said the prayers will be held regularly every month.
