ODPC Announces Various Job Opportunities; How to Apply

The office of the Data Protection Commissioner has advertised new job opportunities which Kenyans can apply.

In the advert seen by Nairobi Leo, the ODPC is seeking to fill 36 new positions.

The positions span from journalism to data profession to accountancy to records management.

Among the vacancies the ODPC is seeking to fill are assistant data Commissioner-registration, assistant data commission-inspection and compliance, senior principal corporate communications officer, and assistant data Commissioner - complaints and investigations. 

Other positions are Assistant data Commissioner - enforcement, principal accountant, principal data protection officer-regional offices, senior data protection officer-regional offices, accountant II, Supply chain management officer II, Data protection officer II- Research and strategy, data protection officer I I-Regional offices, assistant office of administrator II- regional offices, Paralegal assistant II, assistant records management officer II and office assistant.

Interested candidates have been advised to submit their application through the recruitment portal recruitment.odpc.go.ke on or before October 16, 2022.

Manual or any other form of application will not be allowed.

The ODPC said it will only contact shortlisted candidates who will be required to produce originals of the national identity cards, academic professionals certificates and transcripts during the interviews.

Terms of service are Permanent and pensionable.

Those employed will be deployed in various parts of the country.
