Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwour, popularly known as Jalang’o, on Thursday, October 6, left Members of Parliament in stitches after donating his time to Mumias East MP Peter Salasya.
Speaking after concluding his maiden speech in Parliament, Jalang'o said that Salasya had requested him to donate some time to him as he had something to say.
However, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei, who was presiding over the sitting, was quick to interject, maintaining that the first-time MP was out of order.
“I have donated my remainder time to Salasya. He had requested me to donate some two minutes. He had something he wanted… Salasya is here,” Jalang’o stated as MPs in the chamber burst into laughter.
The remarks by Jalang'o come after Salasya had a difficult moment in Parliament on Wednesday during his maiden speech.

The first-time MP kept on referring to Shollei as 'Madam Speaker Sir' during his presentation, something that left his fellow MPs in stitches.
Meanwhile, during his maiden presentation in Parliament, Jalang'o said that the Hustlers Fund that was pledged by President William Ruto should be taken care of by MPs.
He said that the lawmakers knew the 'hustlers' better than anyone else as they campaigned with them.
"I'd like the hustlers fund to be given to members of this house to take care of it. We campaigned with the hustlers, we know them better than anyone else," Jalang'o stated.
The National Assembly was debating the Head of State's maiden speech in the 13th Parliament.
