Mr. Hammer was accompanied by US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman to State House.

The Head of State pointed out that Kenya appreciates the support and commitment of the United States towards peace in the region. 

"Peace and stability are imperative in the development and prosperity of nations. Kenya appreciates the support and commitment of the United States towards peace and security in the Horn of Africa, particularly Ethiopia and DRC.
