The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has hit out at Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale after the latter claimed he ignored Raila Odinga at the burial of Governor Fernandes Barasa's mother.
It started when Khalwale shared a photo on social media where he was seen greeting Kalonzo Musyoka while Odinga looked at the other side.
The Kakamega Senator sensationally claimed that he had not exchanged pleasantries with the ODM leader on grounds that he was still bitter about the election loss.
"Today I met with the Azimio honcho. Pissed off with me! Nevertheless, I ignored him, happily going on to greet & exchange niceties with Kalonzo Musyoka. Watu wawache hasira ya kupoteza kura," he stated.

However, in a rejoined, the ODM party called out the Senator and shared a photo where Khalwale was seen shaking hands with Odinga as opposed to his earlier statement.
"When a leader chooses to be petty, he becomes useless," the ODM party said.
A section of ODM elected leaders led by Robert Alai also called out Senator Khalwale.
"Why feign bitterness with Raila to earn support? You people should be ashamed of yourselves," Alai tweeted.
