Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has come under czar criticism following his remarks on the scrapping of the Presidential system.
Senator Cherargei on Wednesday took to Twitter to ask Kenyans to give the Fafi MP Yakub Salah the opportunity to express himself on why the term limits should be scrapped.
He, however, made his stand known after he said he will support it adding that Kenya is ripe for the conversation.
"UDA is the epitome of democracy & rule of law. Hon. Salah Yakub is within his right to push this amendment so let's listen first, I shall support it in the Senate. This is a conversation that might happen in future by Kenyans on scrapping of term limit of a President. Kazi Ni kazi," the Senator tweeted.

Here are some of the reactions:
It will never happen. You guys were rambling and mumbling that Uhuru Kenyatta wants to extend his term. Now you started suggesting Presidential term extension and you are yet to even deliver on the first one. The last person to enjoy no limits was Moi. It won't happen

Cherargei in Kipsigis means the one who cuts himself slowly. Example like a pencil, you cut off its length piece by piece untill it is very short. It is common used in that mkebe used to measure maize, they normally cut its height till its short and only scoop little maize
