Pastor Dorcas said she would bankroll their university education.

Second lady Dorcas Rigathi has come to the rescue of two university students grappling with fees challenges.

Telvin Sheldon and Millicent Muhonja who study at Moi University, and are in their third year at the institution, had resorted to working on a construction site to get the monies for their fees.

The wife of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua encountered them while putting up with the adversities of the job to raise money.

The second lady scheduled a meeting with them where they would be accorded a life-changing opportunity they had not foreseen.

She offered to finance their university education to completion.

"A few weeks ago, I met two third-year Moi University students, Telvin Sheldon and Millicent Muhonja, working at a construction site in Kahawa Wendani in Kiambu County to make enough money for their studies and upkeep," said Dorcas.

"They visited my office, where I offered to support them through their final year. I also encouraged them not to lose sight of their vision and ambitions in life and to continue working hard.
Our youth are industrious and determined, and all they need is encouragement and support to excel," she added.
