He is a suspected notorious mugger who was positively identified by several victims and has been operating in Huruma and Kariobangi.

Upon search, police officers recovered a kitchen knife from him. He was placed in the cells awaiting processing and arraignment.

We thank the public for partnering with the security team and for volunteering information leading to the successful arrest.

President William Ruto recently ordered the deployment of the General Service Unit and the Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) in Nairobi to deal with the rising insecurity.

In a dispatch after Cabinet meeting, the Nairobi County Security command had been reorganized and further augmented with the deployment of additional specialized police units drawn from the General Service Unit and the Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU).
