Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya could soon be cutting ties with ODM leader Raila Odinga if his latest utterances are anything to go by.

The Former Governor has already made it clear that he won't support the opposition leader again for the top seat stating that he is keen on uniting the Luhya nation.

"I am done with Raila, and even if he badmouths me, God forbid, he knows he will not be forgiven," Oparanya.

The former Kakamega governor led the Azimio La Umoja campaigns in the Western Kenya region together with Former Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa.

The two leaders managed to sway voters to yet again back Odinga for his fifth attempt but their support was not enough to win him the presidency.

The former Governor at the same time took issue with EALA nominations saying that he lobbied for Former Shinyalu MP Justus Kizito but was shortchanged.

He complained that despite the Luhya nation being one of the most populous, it had no representative to EALA.

The former Governor who has been positioning herself as a potential Luhya Kingpin further said he will work for the interest of the Luhya nation going forward.
