NTV has announced a new program known as ‘The Last Word’ premiering on Tuesday, July 1 at 9:30 PM.

In a statement, NTV said the show aims to set agendas, settle controversies, and offer a unique blend of data.

“The Last Word is set to be the definitive voice in Kenyan commentary, offering a unique blend of data, insight, and truth.

"This show aims to set agendas, settle controversies, and provide research, data analysis, and fact-checking for our audience,” read the statement in part.

The show will feature Nation Media Group (NMG) editor in chief Joe Ageyo, NTV news anchor James Smart, and veteran radio presenter Eric Latiff.

Journalists Zaha Indimuli and Sharon Momanyi will also be part of the highly anticipated program.

“This show is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful content that resonates with our audience and sparks meaningful conversations,” NTV stated.

Further, NTV said the program will feature segments debunking fake news and encourage audience interaction through live polls and social media engagement.

“The Last Word will feature segments designed to verify claims and debunk misinformation and will encourage active audience engagement through live polls and social media feedback,” NTV added.
