Alex Chamwada has established himself as one of the most celebrated journalists in the country. His show, Daring Abroad, has over the years highlighted the achievements made by Kenyans living in the diaspora.
In 2014, Chamwada quit Citizen TV to focus on his own channel, Chams Media. The show covers inspiring and success stories of Kenyans from around the world, which are aired primarily on YouTube.
Just like any ordinary Kenyan, the veteran journalist runs a side hustle to supplement his earnings from media. He owns and runs a tour company, Chams Adventures.

Services offered by the tours company are affordable to members of the public from all walks of life.
According to the company website, a night at Diani Beach with all services catered for costs Ksh20,000 per night for a standard room.
Chams Adventures is run by a team of professionals and tour operators who ensure that all the services live up to the expectations of clients.
It also has a fleet of executive cars that ferry its clients to different locations.
Chamwada ventured into the business following the success of Chams Media.
