Citizen TV senior reporter Stephen Letoo has claimed that a group of unknown people attacked his rural home in Enooretet, Narok County, on Saturday night, September 14.
In a statement on Sunday, September 15, Letoo asserted that unknown individuals hurled stones into his compound, adding that it was not the first time the incident had happened.
"Last night a group of unknown people attacked my rural home in Enooretet at around 2 am. They hurled stones at my compound and threw other stones on top of houses. This is not the first time it is happening despite my continued restrain," Letoo remarked.
The journalist emphasized that he viewed the incident as a serious threat to his life and the safety of his family members.
"I take this as a serious threat to my family and an attempted murder on me and/or to some of my family members. This too is an intimidation of the highest order to me as a person, work and life," Letoo added.

He issued a warning to those who attacked his home and those behind the incident, urging them to stop or else he would publicly reveal their identities.
The journalist also appealed to General Service Unit (GSU) officers stationed near his home to protect his and his family's lives.
Letoo asserted that any future attacks on his home by unknown individuals would be met with full resistance in defense of life.
"I am also calling on the newly established GSU camp not far from my home to wake up and protect my life, that of my family, and neighbours. Any further night or day activities by unknown persons around my home/farm will be met by the Full Force of Resistance and defense of life," he remarked.
