Comedian KK Mwenyewe has been admitted to an unnamed hospital after excessive intake of chilli pepper.
The young man, a fanatic of the Manchester United Football Club in the English Premier League, had dared his fans to a challenge if the team lost to Chelsea in a recent EPL clash.
"If Chelsea beats Manchester United tonight I will eat 1 kg of chillies," read his poster.
The teams clashed, and the Stamford Bridge side won after thrashing their opponents 4-3.
To make good his strange dare, the comic embarked on eating raw chillies.

It did not end well for him as he was later filmed confined to the hospital bed.
But in an update, he said he was in a stable condition.
"Public announcement, I am very okay," he said.
According to medics at PharmEasy, green chillies, if consumed in high quantities, may cause damage to the stomach, liver, and kidneys, and may also lead to brain toxicity.
The comedian took the country by storm thanks to his perfect mimics of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
KK Mwenyewe is a third-year student at Kisii University where he studies Computer Science.
Explaining what inspired him to study hard and join campus, KK jokingly stated that his school teachers told them beautiful girls are in university, so he studied hard to ensure he gets admission in order to interact with them.
He revealed his friends pushed him into mimicking DP Gachagua.
