The Kenya Met Department has released a weather forecast report for the next seven days.
In a statement on Monday, June 11, the weatherman disclosed that most parts of the country are likely to be generally dry.
However, occasional rainfall is expected over a few areas in the Central Highlands, Nairobi, Western Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley.
The weatherman warned of strong southerly winds in the Coast region, South-Eastern lowlands, North-Eastern, and North-Western Kenya.
The Met Department further disclosed that intermittent cold conditions will be expected in some parts of the nation.

"Intermittent cold and cloudy conditions are expected over some parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands and the Rift Valley.
"Strong southerly to south-easterly winds with speeds exceeding 25 knots (12.9 m/s) are expected over some parts of the Coast, the South-eastern lowlands, North-eastern and North-western Kenya," the Met department stated.
In the forecast, the weatherman also added that high average daytime temperatures of more than 30°C will be experienced in some parts of the Coast, North-eastern and North-western Kenya.
Low (less than 10°C) average night-time temperatures will be experienced over some parts of the highlands east of the Rift Valley and the Central Rift Valley.
In the last forecast by the weatherman, most parts of the country were generally dry, however, rainfall was recorded in a few stations in the highlands east and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Southeastern lowlands.
