The Azimio la Umoja brigade led by their presidential candidate Raila Odinga kicked off their four-day campaign of the Western region on Friday, March 25 in Busia County.
The former Prime Minister kicked off his tour at the Kenya Medical Training College Teso Campus in Busia County. Odinga laid the foundation stone for the construction of hostels.
Azimio proceeded to make several stopovers in different areas in Busia county on their vote hunting mission.
Odinga was flanked by several leaders including Governors Wycliffe Oparanya and Sospeter Ojaamong, MPs Junet Mohamed, and Florence Mutua among others.

Conspicuously missing was Governor Hassan Joho who is among the leaders spearheading Azimio campaigns in the country.
It has now emerged that Joho might not be feeling well after Junet wished him a speedy recovery via Twitter.

The legislator did not indicate what the Mombasa Governor was ailing from.
The Azimio team will camp in Western for the next three days as they popularise Odinga's presidential bid ahead of the August polls.
