Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has differed with Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi over his remarks on respecting President William Ruto.
This comes after Ahmednasir had censured Azimio secretary general Junet Mohamed asking him to respect President Ruto by addressing him using his appropriate titles.
"Address H.E Ruto using his appropriate title. Show some respect...please," he said.
But in a rejoinder to Ahmednasir comments, Mutahi Ngunyi said:
"My friend @ahmednasirlaw, you are wrong. You cannot ask @JunetMohamed to respect Ruto. You command respect. You do not ask for it. But we must respect the office that Ruto occupies," Ngunyi tweeted.

Junet had addressed a press conference in which he talked tough on Ruto.
The address came ahead of their Kamukunji meeting which he and ODM leader Raila Odinga said will be a consultative platform.
In his address to the President, Junet referred to him by his surname saying he would still have done little to nothing to stop them had they chosen to hold protests at Kamukunji.
"Whereas we've planned no demos, it is important to remind Ruto that even if that was the case, he still would have done nothing about it," Junet said.
The MP said they are at liberty to exercise their democratic freedom without being gagged by the government of the day.
"He cannot stop any demos in Kenya. We can't have a president who thinks democracy ends with his/her election."
