ODM leader Raila Odinga now wants IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati jailed owing to his conduct in the August 9, polls.
Raila has been accusing the IEBC Chair of stealing his victory at the tail end of the election process.
In an interview with Citizen TV, the ODM leader explained that Chebukati deserves to be jailed for failing Kenyans.
"I believe Mr Chebukati is a criminal who should be prosecuted and sentenced to jail. What he has committed is a great crime against humanity and against the people of this country," he said.
Odinga said that he firmly believes that Chebukati should be the one held solely responsible for what took place during the elections.

"I believe very strongly that he and not the other four commissioners are the ones who should be on the dock," Odinga said.
In the same interview, Raila also disclosed that the elections were stolen at the Bomas of Kenya and not at the polling station.
The ODM chief dismissed claims that the lack of agents at some polling stations caused them the loss.
He said the IEBC should always ensure that the IEBC is transparent and well-guarded so that no one steals the votes.
“Our votes were stolen at the tallying centre and not at the polling stations. Our campaigns were the most organised. Even if there were no agents, it shouldn’t be a license for anyone to steal elections.”
Raila said the electoral agency must ensure votes of all candidates are protected whether they have agents at the polling stations or not.
“It shouldn’t be that when a candidate doesn’t have an agent at a particular polling station, then his or her votes are stolen,” he explained.
