Government Pathologist Dr. Johasen Oduor has revealed that LGBTQ activist and Fashion model Edwin Chiloba succumbed to death after lacking oxygen.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday, January 11 at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Dr. Oduor stated that Chiloba had pieces of cloth in his nose and mouth, leading to his death.
“He had a piece of trouser tied around the nose and mouth. He had socks stuffed in his mouth. He had Cyanosis, when you look at his fingernails, they were bluish in color which shows that he lacked oxygen when he died,” Oduor said.
The Government pathologist also stated that there were no injuries on Chiloba’s body but pointed out that they were looking into the postmodern samples to analyze whether he had been drugged before being murdered.
"We didn't find any injuries on his body, that's why we took samples to find out why he wasn't resisting when he was being murdered," Odour added.

The Autopsy report comes hours after the US government called for proper investigations into the murder of the late Edwin Chiloba.
“Violence against LGBTQI+ persons or anyone, of course, is unacceptable. But when violence stems from possible bias or stigma, it indirectly harms all members of the targeted community,” US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said in a news conference.
He added, “We’ve sent our condolences to his family, to his loved ones, but also to the LGBTQI+ community in Kenya during their time of mourning. There were so many in that community in Kenya who benefited from his leadership, from his visibility, from his support.”
