Raila Odinga's ardent supporter Nuru Okang'a has announced contesting for an elective seat in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking at his home in Matungu, Kakamega county, Okang'a said he would be vying for the Kholera ward MCA seat.
He mentioned that he would vie for the seat on a DAP-K party ticket.
The social media sensation called on the ward's electorate to examine the leadership qualities of aspirants at the expense of their respective academic qualifications.
"I want to ask Kholera ward aspirants, if you are going to dwell on someone's academic qualifications, you won't get good leaders. I will vie for the MCA seat on a DAP-K ticket. I urge you all to support my bid," he said.
