Kenyans in Saudi Arabia can now contact their government for help in case of any distress through a toll-free number, Foreign and Diaspora affairs cabinet secretary Alfred Mutua has disclosed.
Speaking to Citizen TV's JKL show on Wednesday, the CS said the service is available 25/7.
Mutua said that the numbers 966 500 755 060 or 19911 (toll-free number) will be available for any Kenyan seeking help from Saudi Arabia.
He assured them that there will be a swift response when one reaches out.

"There are people manning the lines 24/7 and will respond. If they dont just write to me as the CS and I will fire them. Because as a government we want Kenyans to be supported," he said.
The CS said he visited Saudi Arabia over the issue of Kenyans suffering in Saudi and held talks with the government.
"We have had conversations with Saudi government asking why their people are abusing our young men and women. They said we need to expose them and will get them arrested," Mutua noted.
The CS however noted that there was a section of Kenyans in Saudi Arabia who were working under good conditions and making a lot of money.
"In Saudi, I met Kenyans and some are working well. I meet nurses, teachers, and hotel managers," Mutua said.
"Mostly it's women who suffer and those who go for domestic work. I had private meetings with the woman and they disclosed how they are suffering," he added.
