Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has asked President William Ruto's current regime not to treat the former CS Fred Matiang'i the same way he treated his opponents.
In a tweet, while reacting to a police raid at the Former CS's home, Ahemdnasir said the State should invite the former CS in writing and start tracing every asset he acquired.
He asked the current regime not to use the criminal system to attack the opponents saying the attorney general should ask the Assets Recovery Agency to start the probe.

"Don't copy Matiang'i primitive style of harassing/raiding his opponents at night/weekend and don't use the criminal process. Invite him in writing, give him his favourite Fanta & cake, then retrace his steps and every asset he owns...let Justin Muturi trigger the Asset Recovery Agency," he tweeted.
The advice comes after police on Wednesday night raided the former Interior CS' home in Nairobi.
The raid forced the former ODM leader Raila Odinga to spend the night at the former CS home.EACC has denied any involvement in the raid.
Assets Recovery Agency has been linked to the raid.
The Former CS said he had learnt of the planned raid earlier in the day.
He defended himself from any wrongdoing saying he left the government a clean man.
