The six are Catherine Njeri Waweru, Alice Chepchumba Chesire, Francis Kiriinya Mwongo, Meshak Kidenda (Eng), Mithamo Muchiri and Wilfred Okemwa.

The six were replaced with Nimo Omar Haji, Carol Oduor, Richard Munyao, Simon Kalekem, Ephraim Karimi Macharia, and Charles Nyabuti.
The changes come a week after President William Ruto appointed Aden Noor Ali as the chairperson of the NTSA board of directors.
While announcing Ali’s appointment, President Ruto revoked the appointment of Agnes Odhiambo who was put as the chair of NTSA by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ali vied unsuccessfully for the Mandera governorship in 2022.
Before the August polls, Ali also served as a member of the Transport Licensing Appeals Board.
The changes come even as the president is keen on aligning the government programs with his agenda for the country.
It is also seen as a move to reward his close allies who campaigned and stood with him ahead of the August 9 polls,
